St. John Fisher University, an independent, liberal arts institution in the Catholic tradition located in Rochester, New York, seeks nominations and applications for two tenure track positions in economics at the level of assistant professor. The successful candidates will contribute to undergraduate courses in economics and statistics. Preferred fields of study include Macro and/or Quantitative Economics. The ideal candidates will have exceptional teaching skills and a commitment to student learning and success, as well as a scholarly research agenda. Teaching duties may include some combination of Principles courses, macro-related field courses, and various classes in statistics or data analytics. The teaching load is three courses per semester and will be in person. Commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service is required for eventual promotion and tenure. The requirement for the position is a Ph.D. in economics or closely related field, though candidates who are ABD will be considered. The positions will begin in September 2024.
