HKBU is a prestigious international research university located in one of Asia's most vibrant cities. The Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance at HKBU is committed to excellence in research and teaching, providing a supportive and collaborative environment for its young faculty members.

The Department is inviting applications for various academic positions in Economics. Applications in all fields of economics will be considered. We particularly welcome candidates with expertise in applied microeconomics, data analytics, and the digital economy.

The salary offered is highly competitive. The university provides a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical/dental care, annual leave, and staff quarters/monthly cash allowance, for eligible appointees.

Candidates must have obtained a relevant Ph.D. by August 2024 and should demonstrate the potential to excel in both research and teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Closing date: Initial assessment will be conducted by 31 December 2023, and the positions are open until they are filled.
