Full Text of JOE Listing:
The University of Connecticut Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics invites applications for a faculty position as Assistant Professor. Successful candidates will contribute to the university's mission through research and teaching that address issues in environmental and resource economics and will have a demonstrated trajectory of nationally and internationally recognized research in the field.
Relevant areas of interest include but are not limited to energy economics, issues of sustainability, and climate change. We will consider researchers from any economic discipline working in these areas, including development, agriculture, and environmental economics.
The position has an anticipated start date of August 23, 2024, in a full-time, nine-month tenure-track position. Duties include a 50/50 split between teaching and research, with expectations for service. Teaching responsibilities include three courses annually and student advising.
