The Sanford School of Public Policy invites applications for two Lecturer positions. We seek applicants who can and are excited to teach courses in introductory microeconomics, applied microeconomics and statistics/econometrics as part of Sanford’s core curriculum in public policy studies at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Our programs offer instructors a unique opportunity to balance academic rigor and practical policy relevance when designing their courses. Candidates must have a PhD in Public Policy or Economics; at least four years post-PhD experience; and excellent teaching references at the college or university level. We seek applicants who have an applied policy focus in their teaching, who can successfully train and mentor teaching assistants and whose primary interest is teaching and mentoring students.

At the Sanford School Lecturers are appointed under a fixed-term three-year contract. Continued renewal is possible conditional on formal performance review. Salary is competitive and commensurate with job candidate’s experience.
