This is a full-time, nine-month, faculty position in the Katz School of Business. The teaching load is 24 credits per year (12 credits each semester). In addition to teaching responsibilities, a Lecturer in Economics is expected to provide service to the Business Economics group, Katz School of Business, and Fort Lewis College.

Minimum Qualifications

Advanced degree in economics or associated field; ADB considered.
Ability to teach Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics.
College level teaching experience.
Demonstrated teaching excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to teach upper division courses in economics.
Ability to teach upper division courses related to finance.
Demonstrated success working in a diverse student environment.

Major Responsibilities

Teach multiple sections of Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.
Other teaching assignments may be developed based upon the successful candidate’s area of expertise.
Provide service to the Business Economics group, the Katz School of Business, and Fort Lewis College.
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities
Maintain knowledge and awareness of digital accessibility including the American with Disabilities Act and Section 508
Produces and remediates digitally accessible materials in accordance with FLC standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
