Tenure-track opening at the assistant professor level, subject to administrative approval, starting August 2024. Candidates must have satisfied all requirements for the economics Ph.D. by time of appointment and have a research and/or teaching specialty in international macroeconomics. The candidate will teach international macroeconomics, principles, money and banking, and other courses, including online courses. They will work with, teach, and develop new courses for, a diverse student population. They will be expected to publish in refereed outlets and assist with department and university service. Our economics department is dedicated to excellence in undergraduate education and research. We serve approximately 100 majors and minors in economics and applied mathematical economics, as well as business and education students. We also support interdisciplinary programs in Global Studies, Women’s Studies, and Language and International Trade. Interviews will be done remotely.
