The Department invites applications for several posts of Research Assistant Professor in the following fields: Applied Economics, including but not limited to digital economy, big data, machine learning, industrial organization, labour economics, development economics, health economics.

Applicants should have a relevant PhD degree (by the time of reporting for duty). The appointee(s) will be expected to (i) participate in independent and joint research programmes; (ii) apply for external research grants; (iii) teach courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels; and (iv) provide service at departmental, faculty and/or university levels.

Appointment(s) will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing August 2024, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
