Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research(CIER) is a leading think tank in Taiwan, which specializes in economic policy research. CIER invites applicants to apply for position of assistant research fellow, starting on August 1, 2024. All fields related to economic policy will be considered, and a good command of Mandarin is preferred.

Qualified applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in economics or relevant fields by August 1, 2024. Please email or send an application package by July 31, 2024 to Ms. Liu at fangru@cier.edu.tw or the recruiting committee, Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research, No. 75 Chang-Hsing Street, Taipei, Taiwan 10672. Please also send application materials through the JOE system.

Application package should include:
(1)A curriculum vitae along with a cover letter indicating for which position you apply and your nationality.
(2)An official Ph.D. transcript(if you apply for position of assistant research fellow and have not yet received a doctoral diploma)
(3)A doctoral diploma or a certification of completion requirements issued by your thesis advisor(s) or your department chair.
(4)Publication list
(5)Job market paper or Ph.D. dissertation
(6)Three recommendation letters(sent separately by professional references)
