The UW-La Crosse Department of Economics seeks to fill one or possibly two full-time, non-tenure track instructional positions starting August 26, 2024. Candidates should have a minimum of a master's degree in economics or related field, applied statistics, or a business discipline. Experience with student assessment is valued. Teaching responsibilities may include some of the following courses: Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, Data Analysis for Business Applications, and Women in the US Economy. Candidates who can teach two or more of these courses are preferred. Successful applicants must demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate teaching. Our class sizes are 30-35 students.


Candidates must either already meet the AACSB scholarly/professional standards outlined in the CBA Guidelines for Maintaining Scholarly and Professional Qualifications available at our website or demonstrate a clear path to meeting them within the first year of employment and demonstrate the ability to sustain the qualifications.
