The Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC) at Ohio State University seeks a Research Administrator. The FSRDC provides access to confidential/restricted-use microdata from the U.S. Census Bureau and other federal agencies.

Responsibilities include: assist researchers to develop proposals; track, document, and manage projects; enforce Census Bureau data stewardship policies; participate in activities to grow the overall FSRDC program; oversee day-to-day FSRDC operations.

Position is part-time; hours per week will range (16-32) with candidate interest and availability. The US Census Bureau is the official employer. The position will be classified based on candidate qualifications; expected range is GS-9 to GS-12, salary $30,000 - $45,000 for a 20 hour/week position with prorated health, retirement, and leave benefits.

Requirements: Masters or PhD; training in empirical social science, including statistical software; good communication and organizational skills. Desirable: familiarity with federal data and an active interest/engagement in academic research.
