The Department of Economics at Swarthmore College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor.
We seek candidates with the demonstrated ability to teach introductory econometrics, as well as introductory economics and courses in their research specialization. Starting with the fall semester of 2024, this is a two-year appointment. Salary commensurate with experience. The course load is 4 courses per year (2 per semester).
Located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Swarthmore College is a highly selective liberal arts college whose mission combines academic rigor with social responsibility. Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D. completed by August 2024. The strongest candidates will demonstrate a commitment to creative teaching and an active research program that speaks to and motivates undergraduates from diverse backgrounds.
