The Department of Economics at Union College invites applications for one full-time, three-year visiting position. The successful candidates must demonstrate an ability to teach undergraduate intermediate macroeconomics. The ability to teach innovative and/or interdisciplinary courses is a plus.

The successful applicant should have a Ph.D. by September 1, 2024, an established record of teaching excellence, and a strong research program. Our teaching load is six courses over three ten-week terms, up to two of which may take the form of supervision of undergraduate theses. Applicants are asked to describe in their cover letter their potential contributions to undergraduate thesis advising and interdisciplinary studies and how their research, teaching, and service could support the college’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. Evaluation of candidates will begin on March 8 and continue until the position is filled.
