The Department of Agricultural Economics and Economics (DAEE) at Montana State University seeks two individuals who work professionally and effectively with diverse individuals, possess effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to contribute positively to the academic success of the students and the mission of Montana State University.

Required Qualifications –
- Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics or Economics or related field prior to the starting date.
- Knowledge of and expertise in commercial agriculture applicable to farms and ranches in Montana, especially in the areas of production economics, farm/ranch management, agricultural marketing, finance and/or closely related areas.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to outreach, engagement, and research.
- Strong potential for effectiveness in extension, teaching, and research.

Preferred Qualifications –
- Demonstrated success in extension, outreach, and scholarship.
- Extension and scholarship interests that contribute to the land grant and extension missions of Montana State University.
- Ability to interact positively with diverse audiences within the University and with external constituents.
