We seek an instructor to support an interdisciplinary undergraduate program in Natural Resources and Environmental Management. The individual will teach 5-6 courses per year (18- 20 credits), including an innovative transdisciplinary course, and NREM core and required elective courses. The individual will advise NREM undergraduate majors and participate in programmatic curriculum redesign and innovation.
Duties and responsibilities: teach 18-20 credit-hour courses per year, including an introductory resource economics course (NREM 220 Agricultural and Resource Economics) and a new college-wide transdisciplinary course (CTAHR 491 Transdisciplinary Approaches in Sustainable Food Systems and Community Health); teach/co-teach other introductory and advanced undergraduate courses covering economics, sustainable systems, and skills and tools (GIS, modeling, and etc.), depending on the expertise of the selected individual; serves as an advisor to NREM undergraduate students in the Social Sciences track.
