Postdoctoral Fellow – Labour

The Department of Economics at University of Alberta invites applications for a postdoctoral position to begin in summer 2024 or earlier. Potential candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics by June 2024. We are seeking candidates whose research areas are in labor economics, economics of migration or related fields. The primary role of this position is to model and analyze the income/earnings of immigrants in Canada using advanced micro-econometric techniques. In addition, other related research topics are also encouraged. The postdoctoral position will be supervised by Dr. Xingfei Liu. The initial appointment is for one year with possible extension of another year.
