The CUHK Business School has been offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (MBA, MSc, EMBA, MPhil, PhD) with over 5,000 students, as well as executive education. It has one of the most extensive alumni networks in the region, with over 40,000 alumni around the world. It comprises two Schools and four Departments:

The Department of Decisions, Operations and Technology comprises three research areas: Business Economics, Management Information Systems and Operations Management. The Department now invites applications for visiting faculty position in the area of Business Economics commencing Fall 2024.

Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Economics, or related disciplines; (ii) high competence in applied theory or empirical research, demonstrated research interest in, but not limited to, industrial organization, microeconomics, macroeconomics or applied econometrics; and (iii) strong commitment to teaching and services. The appointee will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the Department. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one or two years commencing Fall 2024.
