The Center for Education Policy Research (CEPR) at Harvard University is seeking an Associate Director of Research who is passionate about leading rigorous quantitative research on education questions that are salient and actionable. CEPR partners with school districts, charter school networks, and state education agencies to bring high quality research methods and data analysis to bear on strategic management and policy decisions. We design our work around the theory of action that if we bring together the right people, the right data, and the right analysis, significantly better decision-making will occur, and student outcomes will be improved.

The Associate Director of Research will oversee and develop the analytical work for a portfolio of research projects (which may include the Education Recovery Scorecard and the new States Leading States Initiative), contribute to the broader strategic vision of projects, and assure the quality of analytic products. Requires: advanced degree (PhD preferred), 3+ years management responsibility, and 6+ years quantitative research experience.
