Post-doctoral Scholar
The School of Economics at the Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking a postdoctoral scholar with a PhD in economics, or related discipline. The scholar will work with Dr. Shatakshee Dhongde on projects related to education, food insecurity, health, housing, poverty, and inequality. Examples of research projects led by Dr. Dhongde can be found at https://dhongde.econ.gatech.edu/.
The scholar will serve an initial 12-month appointment, beginning Fall, 2025, with the possibility of a 12- month extension based on performance and available funding. The scholar will collaborate and complete two research papers during the year. The scholar may be offered the option of teaching one course a year at the undergraduate and/or masters level depending on the scholar’s prior teaching experience.
