The Smith College Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position in industrial organization and/or health economics to begin July 1, 2026. We are particularly interested in candidates with interests that span the two fields. Successful candidates should have an active research program and be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Smith College has a 2/2 teaching load, and teaching responsibilities will include electives in the candidate’s area of expertise; as well as one or more core courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, or econometrics. Ph.D. in Economics or relevant field is expected by the time of appointment. Candidates from groups underrepresented in Economics are encouraged to apply.
