Full Text of JOE Listing:

Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics to be part of an interdisciplinary research cluster that will study resilient agricultural and forestry systems (RAFS). The RAFS cluster will include six faculty members from across the University of Tennessee.

Subject: Environmental Economics, with an emphasis on decision-making, and the incentives and policies required to align private choices with increased resilience. We seek a candidate with an interest in interdisciplinary research on mechanisms for improving economic and environmental outcomes in the context of agricultural, food, and forestry systems.

Qualifications: Ph.D., or ABD with an expected completion date before August 1, 2026, in economics, agricultural economics, or a closely related field; excellent communication skills; ability to work in interdisciplinary teams. Candidates with demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary collaborations are preferred.
