We (https://www.uaustin.org/ceph) invite applications for a full-time professor of economics (any rank) to begin as early as Summer 2026. Applicants should have a strong interest in teaching undergraduate economics as well as research. As a new university entering our third year of operations, we seek to hire faculty at all levels with particular needs for microeconomics, economic growth, finance, and public policy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with quantitative and empirical methods. Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline or a degree conferred by the start date. Review will begin on October 15, 2025.

Founded in 2022 with the mission of reviving the spirit of fearless inquiry and open discourse in higher education, UATX offers a B.A. in Liberal Studies. The first class of freshmen enrolled in the Fall quarter of 2024.
