The Department of Economics at Florida State University (FSU) seeks applications for a Specialized Teaching Faculty position (Full Time, non-Tenure Track). The successful applicant will be responsible for the teaching of large (300 to 500 students) Principles of Micro- and Macroeconomics classes as well as upper division elective courses. Given the nature of the position, a documented history of successful teaching of large sections in the areas of Principles of Micro- and Macroeconomics is required. Faculty with interest in macroeconomics upper division teaching are especially encouraged to apply. All requirements for the Ph.D. must be satisfied by August 1, 2026. Rank and pay are commensurate with experience.

Preliminary interviews to determine finalists for on-campus visits will be conducted by Zoom as early as December 2025, with fly-outs to follow for top candidates. The start date will be August 2026.
