Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Economics and Finance at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full time, tenure-track faculty position (#113170) in Economics at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2026.

Key Responsibilities
Faculty members are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, maintain an active research agenda leading to peer-reviewed publications, and contribute to departmental, college, and university service. Research specialization in applied microeconomics, econometrics, labor economics, industrial organization, international economics, or closely related fields is especially encouraged.

Required Education
A terminal degree in economics is required by the appointment date.
