Associate Professor or DTU Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Economics

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for distinguished scholars to join the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), as Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) or Associate Professor in Economics at DTU Management.

The position offers a unique platform to conduct research in economics while joining DTU’s broader ecosystem of technological knowledge and innovation.

The appointment’s aim is to strengthen the research in economics within the department. The candidate will become part of a strong team with internationally leading economists within a multi-disciplinary department. Our research is impactful and supported by excellence grants such as ERC. Depending on the strength of the applicant pool, we may hire 1-3 candidates.

We are seeking strong candidates in applied research with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Energy economics
• Climate economics
• Environmental economics
• Energy and climate finance
• Ecological economics
• Behavioural economics/science
• Transport/urban economics

We seek candidates with a high potential for creative and independent research, ability to collaborate and interact with other researchers, and sincere teaching engagement.
