Post-Doctoral Research Associate Position Description

The Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct innovative research at the intersection of behavioral environmental economics, responsive agriculture, and public health. The position focuses on how behavioral factors influence producer adoption of sustainable practices, evaluating environmental, economic, and health impacts using experimental and/or observational data, and examining consumer responses to sustainability and health-related initiatives.

The successful candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams at the Institute for Advancing Health through Agriculture (IHA) and the Human Behavior Laboratory (HBL), which feature state-of-the-art facilities and technologies for human behavior and physiological measurement. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in economics or agricultural/environmental economics with demonstrated research excellence and strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Experience in experimental economics, causal inference, or research on responsive agriculture is preferred.
