Full Time Specialized Teaching Faculty Position for Fall 2026

The Department of Economics at Florida State University (FSU) seeks applications for a Specialized Teaching Faculty position (Full Time, non-Tenure Track). The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching required methods courses, including econometrics and data analysis courses at the undergraduate and applied master’s level, as well as other upper-division courses. A documented history of successful teaching in methods-related courses is required, and faculty with an interest in methods-related and macroeconomics upper-division teaching are especially encouraged to apply. All requirements for the Ph.D. must be satisfied by August 1, 2026. Rank and pay are commensurate with experience.

Preliminary interviews to determine finalists for site visits will be conducted by Zoom as early as January 2025, with flyouts to follow for top candidates. The start date will be August 2026.
