The Murphy Institute’s Center for Ethics (CE) at Tulane University announces that applications are now open for the 2026-2027 CE Faculty Fellowship Program. These fellowships support outstanding faculty whose teaching and research focus on ethics; political and social philosophy; moral psychology, agency and responsibility; philosophy of law; political theory; or questions of moral choice in areas such as business, government, law, economics, public health and medicine.

Faculty Fellows are appointed as Visiting Research Professors at Tulane’s Murphy Institute. While fellows participate in seminars, lectures, and conferences organized by the Murphy Institute, they are expected to devote their time to conducting their research.  

Applicants must hold a doctorate and a full-time college or university appointment at the time of application. Faculty Fellowships are open to full-time faculty at all ranks.
