The Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas) invites applications for a tenure-system Assistant Professor position in Healthcare Management. Candidates may come from business disciplines (e.g., Information Systems, Operations Management, Economics, Marketing) or from closely related fields (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science) with research agendas aligned with healthcare management.

The successful candidate will hold their primary appointment in one of the Jindal School’s core business disciplines according to their academic training and research focus, while also being affiliated with the newly established Healthcare Management Interdisciplinary Area. This dual affiliation provides an opportunity to contribute to both disciplinary scholarship and the interdisciplinary mission of advancing healthcare management, analytics, and innovation.

Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate courses in healthcare management, healthcare analytics/AI, and related areas. In addition to teaching, the position requires an active program of high-quality research and publication. Candidates are also expected to contribute to service activities within the university and the profession.

The appointment commences for the fall 2026 semester.
