Stockton University is accepting applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Economics, starting September 1, 2026. A Ph.D. in Economics is required, although advanced ABD candidates will be considered.

We are open to applicants across all fields (JEL: A10), with a preference for behavioral economists (JEL: D91) who are open to interdisciplinary teaching with programs such as Psychology or Criminal Justice. Candidates should be prepared to teach macroeconomics and microeconomic theory at the introductory and intermediate levels, econometrics, and courses in their areas of specialization. The teaching load is three, 4-credit courses per semester.

Candidates committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching are especially welcome to apply. Salary Range: $76,486.40 - $87,954.55 Salary commensurate with experience and is accompanied by an extremely competitive university benefits package.
