The Postdoctoral Fellow would join the Department of Health, Society, and Behavior within the University of California, Irvine’s School of Population & Public Health and work closely with Dr. Brandy Lipton and other members of the research team. The person in this role will have opportunities to contribute to multiple projects that apply quasi-experimental research methods to large administrative and survey data sources to examine the impacts of public policies on population health and well-being, with a focus on Medicaid policy. This is expected to be a 2 year appointment, with possibility of renewal contingent on performance and funding availability.

Specific duties for this appointment include (but are not limited to): conducting independent research using various survey and administrative data sources, participating in project team and research lab meetings, presenting work in progress at department colloquia and national conferences, engaging in mentorship with student team members, and leading and contributing to paper preparation for publication in economics, policy, and medical journals
