The School of Economics (SOE) at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) is pleased to announce a number of tenure track faculty positions for the 2026 academic year. We are hiring at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor in all areas of economics. Preferred specializations (but not limited to) include: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Digital Economy, Political Economy, World Economy, Economic History, and History of Economic Thought.

SOE offers an active academic environment. Our faculty enjoy a vibrant community of more than 70 scholars, about 30 of whom were recruited from overseas in the past ten years, fostering global exchange, joint projects, and access to leading academic networks. We welcome more scholars join in our family.

Typical compensation packages are internationally competitive and include a base salary, research funding, and housing allowances. Distinguished senior professors receive highly competitive remuneration that surpasses market levels. Junior candidates should obtain a Ph.D. by August 2026 and demonstrate promising research potential; senior candidates must hold a Ph.D. and a strong research record.
