The College of Public Finance and Investment (CPI) at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) invites applications for full-time tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of public economics, public finance, taxation, and public investment. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or anticipate Ph.D. completion by August 2026 in related fields.
SUFE, founded in 1917, is considered among the top tier universities in China for its academic excellence. The College of Public Finance and Investment (CPI) was reformed from the former School of Public Economics and Administration (SPEA) in June 2025, with a collection of disciplines in economics that are related with the public sector. The origin of the discipline in public finance could be traced back to the 1950s when the university initiated the Department of Public Finance. Despite various reforms in the school administration, scholars of the disciplines persistently contributed to the academia and became influential to policy makers.
