The RCM Research team forecast macro variables and follow macro / political developments to best support the Investment team in decision making. The team aspire to generate a commercial point of difference by utilizing all forms of data to identify true, underlying economic trends.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to work at the intersection of economics and data science as part of our deep team of economic researchers. The individual will operate within a highly intellectual environment where quantitative economic analysis has immediate and concrete implications, benefitting from access to a wide range of alternative datasets.

The ideal candidate will be able to evidence several of the following:
- 5+ years experience in a relevant position spanning economics and data science
- An ability to leverage data for innovative analysis of economic trends
- Experience working with large datasets to forecast official statistics and deliver market-relevant analysis

Responsibilities include:
- Act as a thought leader with respect to innovative data initiatives, leading a team of data scientists and economists to deliver commercially impactful insights
- Work closely with economists, leveraging data analysis and methodological understanding to help inform their view
- Build sophisticated infrastructure to communicate analysis at pace
