Inclusion Economics India Centre at IFMR is accepting applications for a Director of Strategic Initiatives. Candidates with interest in political economy, gender, and development economics more broadly, especially within India, are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have a master’s degree in economics, public policy, or related field with relevant experience, including progressively senior management experience. Experience working in India is desirable.

The position will offer the candidate a pivotal role leading the Women in Leadership Economics initiative, an ambitious, collaborative effort to generate systems change to advance Indian Women’s leadership in economics and policy. Responsibilities within the project portfolio include supporting program design and delivery, financial management, and policymaker engagement.

Inclusion Economics draws upon economics, political science, and related fields to conduct cutting-edge research to understand how policy can promote inclusive, accountable economies and societies.
