Chongqing, located in Southwest China, was the provisional capital of China during World War II and now is one of the Five National Central Cities of China. It is also a very important hub city in the “One Belt One Road” initiative of China and Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe Railway connecting Chongqing and Germany is the most important inland China’s international logistics channel.

Chongqing University (CQU) is a university supported by newly launched Double First-rate (class A) program, “985” and “211” Projects of Chinese central government and the School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA) of Chongqing University is ranked among top business schools in Western China. With continuous resources supported by the government and CQU, SEBA has gained high reputation in business education and research in West China after developing for 80 years. It has already accredited by AACSB and AMBA.

Currently, SEBA has one national key academic discipline and three first-tier disciplines - Business Administration, Management Science and Engineering and Applied Economics. Based on this integrated and quality discipline structure, SEBA plays an important role in cultivating high-caliber talents in business and producing intellectual contributions with impact in China. Except for 2 postdoctoral research centers and 2 doctoral programs, 2 MSc programs in economics and management under one national priority discipline and three first-tier discipline, SEBA also has 5 professional master programs (EMBA, MBA, MPAcc, MIB and MF) and 2 programs for undergraduates in Economics and Management. SEBA has 6 academic departments including Department of Management, Department of Accounting, Department of Finance, Department of Applied Economics, Department of Marketing and Department of Information Management.

SEBA welcomes applicants for assistant professor and associate professor on full-time tenure-track in areas including Accounting, Energy Economics, Marketing, Macro-Finance, Quantitative Economics, Information Management and System, Logistics and Supply Chain, Human Resource Management. Applicants are required to be under 40 and hold a PhD degree in economics or management got from prestigious international business schools. Preference will be given to those who can demonstrate outstanding ability of teaching and conducting high quality research.
