The Tobin Center for Economic Policy at Yale University is inviting applications for a postdoctoral scholar. The postdoctoral scholar will work with faculty, students, and staff conducting policy-relevant, health economics research. During the one or two-year fellowship, the successful candidate will develop their own research agenda and work with faculty on ongoing research focused on prescription drug pricing, provider pricing, and the drivers of health spending growth. Their work will be supervised by Professors Zack Cooper and Fiona Scott Morton. The postdoctoral scholar will have access to unique datasets and the support of research assistants. The postdoctoral associate will be an active member of the Yale intellectual community.

Successful candidates should have a well-demonstrated interest in applied microeconomic research, strong communication and management skills, and have completed their PhD in economics, health economics, or public policy within the last two years (or expect completion in ‘19). The start date is negotiable; the salary is competitive and comes with a full benefits package.
