The Department of Economics is seeking to hire one, part-time, non-tenure-track faculty member, to teach at least one and up to two undergraduate classes in the Spring of 2022. The interest is in introductory economics with emphasis on environmental applications, and/or intermediate economics, and/or introductory development economics. This appointment will begin January 2022, will be for one semester in duration, and may be renewable. Compensation is governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) governing part-time faculty employment and includes eligibility for health, dental, vision, and insurance benefits. The Tufts Economics Department is dedicated to effective teaching that both recognizes the diversity of student experiences and that is committed to an inclusive and as equitable a learning experience as possible.

All candidates are expected to possess a Ph.D. or to complete their Ph.D. by January 15, 2022. Qualified candidates will possess evidence of successful teaching and will demonstrate expertise in the area of undergraduate microeconomics.
