School of Public Finance &Taxation at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) invites applications for faculty positions at all levels. The strong candidates for all fields that intersect with the discipline of Public Finance & Taxation will be considered including applied economics, theoretical economics, public administration, public economy and public policy, accounting, financial management, auditing, quantitative economics, management and application of big data, statistics and so on. Responsibilities include conducting high-quality research and teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses.

Junior (Assistant Professor) applicants must show potential for engaging in outstanding research and developing excellence in teaching both graduate- and undergraduate- level courses, and must have received the Ph.D. degree in related field by the time of appointment. Senior (Associate/Full Professors) applicants must have an established record of outstanding research accomplishment and commit to active research programs. They must also have a proven record of mentoring and guiding research of doctoral students, a proven record of excellence and teaching both graduate- and undergraduate-level courses. Besides, a proven record of leadership or potential for leadership in research programs is also required.

DUFE is a multi-disciplinary teaching and research university founded in 1952 in Dalian, China, with particular strength in the fields of finance, economics and management. School of Public Finance & Taxation was established in 1996 by merging the departments of public finance and taxation. It is one of the earliest departments of DUFE. Its faculty combines high-profile overseas experts and active junior scholars, and has developed research strength in the fields of public finance & taxation. Applied economics, the discipline that School of Public Finance & Taxation belongs to, has been ranked A (top 5%) in the fourth round of the Discipline Assessment in China.
