Outline:
The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) of Osaka University invites applications for one assistant professor position (non-tenure-track position) in macroeconomics, beginning on or after April 1, 2024, and ending on March 31, 2028. The appointment is for the fixed term mentioned above with no renewal.
Position: Assistant Professor (Lecturer, Koshi in Japanese)
Qualifications:
1. Having or expecting to obtain a Ph.D., or an equivalent degree by March 31, 2024, in economics or related fields
2.Language ability to teach in Japanese
Starting Date: April 1, 2024 (or the earliest possible date thereafter, but not later than October 1, 2024)
Term of Employment:
From the starting date until March 31, 2028.
A full-time and non-renewable appointment
