The School of Economics at Georgia Tech seeks an econometrician who demonstrates a strong interest in applied microeconomics topics. Preference will be given to applicants whose research focus is on causal inference and/or panel data methods. The successful candidate will have research interests that have high synergistic potential with the faculty in the department and will be expected to teach econometrics courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

The School of Economics is a diverse, dynamic, and growing department with strengths in applied microeconomics. Georgia Tech is a top-ranked public research university, attracting more than $1.4 billion in research awards this past year, and offers significant support and opportunities for collaborative research across complementary disciplines.

Applicants must have received a Ph.D. in economics or related field prior to employment. Advanced assistant professors and associate professors are highly encouraged to apply. More senior applicants should have a record of excellence in scholarship and teaching commensurate with their time in rank. Junior applicants should show promise for both research and teaching excellence.

Three letters of reference are required for new PhD applicants. Applicants who are advanced assistant professors or associate professors should provide the names and contact information of three references in their cover letter. References for advanced assistant or associate professor candidates will only be contacted with permission of the candidate.
