Bloomberg View Cites Thaler's "Anomalies"

Bloomberg View columnist Justin Fox mentioned a series of columns that 2017 Nobel winner Richard Thaler wrote for the Journal of Economic Perspectives, in an opinion piece about how Thaler reshaped the ways economists think about how people make decisions. The JEP series, called “Anomalies,” first appeared in the journal in 1987 and continued to be published up until the Winter 2006 issue. Thaler’s columns “were gentle, amusing tweakings of established beliefs,” Fox said, “not angry manifestos.” Thaler published 19 Anomalies columns over nearly two decades, many of them co-authored with other researchers.
